Principal Interaction Designer(KATSEWAPIxD)

Description:

Bestica, nation’s leading User Experience staffing firm, has exclusive relationships with many clients nationwide.  We are actively seeking a Principal Interaction Designer for our client based in the Greater Seattle Area. 

The Principal Interaction Designer will work with the CD, lead significant experience design efforts and have experience with the full design process: information architecture/interaction design, research/usability, rapid prototyping, visual, motion design, brand integration, and content creation. The Ideal candidate will have the ability to effectively partner with multidiscipline teams to guide the full product lifecycle experiences from concept to ship, have a deep understanding of natural user interface paradigms, and have strong experience in designing experiences with multiple input modalities.

Basic Experience, Requirements and Qualifications:

•  BA/BS degree (minimum) required in Interface Design, Interaction Design, Communication Design, Architecture or equivalent experience

•  15+ years of experience that includes information architecture, interaction design user research, and usability testing (5+ years experience in a CD role)

•  Experience managing multi-discipline design teams & design vendors in shipping compelling user experiences

•  Lead & facilitate design brainstorming and work sessions

•  Direct and also create scenarios, process flows, information architecture diagrams, wireframes

•  Proficiency in creating a variety of IxD documents and user scenarios, task flows, conceptual models, competitor analysis, heuristic analysis, and annotated  wireframes

•  Experience shipping innovative complex mobile, web or software products

•  Ability to communicate, defend and build agreement around experience architecture and interaction design direction
