Principal UX Designer(KATSEWAPUX)

Description:

Bestica, nation’s leading User Experience staffing firm, has exclusive relationships with many clients nationwide. We are actively seeking a Principal User Experience Designer to define and build best-in-class digital and mobile products. An ideal candidate is one who can work in a fast paced start-up environment and quickly translate business needs into a fantastic customer-focused solution.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree required. Degree in design or a related field strongly preferred

• 10+ years experience as a user experience designer; expertise in both information architecture and interaction design

• 7+ years experience with large-market consumer electronics, web and mobile products (handheld consumer electronics products a plus)

• 4+ years of experience as a Lead/Senior creative contributor

• Solid user experience skill set; strategy, information architecture, and design aesthetic

• An informed set of core values regarding user experience, technology, and business communication and the ability to present them with eloquence and concision.

• An online portfolio that showcases your expertise in turning ideas into unique creative vision

• Strong experience guiding and/or managing user research and usability testing studies

• Proven ability to work cross-team and synthesize feedback and input from product management, engineering, and marketing

• Thirst for innovation, while balancing business needs and customer expectations

• Expertise in design tools, e.g. Photoshop, Fireworks, Visio, Omnigraffle, Illustrator, Dreamweaver and HTML/CSS

Pluses:

• Prototyping ability in HTML, XHTML, JavaScript, and CSS, Flash or Flash Catalyst

• Experience with agile/scrum
