Senior UX Visual Designer(KATSEWASUXVi)

Description:

Bestica, nation’s leading User Experience staffing firm, has exclusive relationships with many fortune clients nationwide.  We are actively seeking a Senior UX Visual Designer for a full-time role within a growing company based in Seattle, WA.  Our client offers a creative, fast paced, entrepreneurial work environment where you’ll be at the center of innovation and work with a UX team designing brand assets, visual identity, and user interface guidelines and style guides.

This position is responsible for delivering highly polished mockups and production ready artwork that will be viewed by millions of customers and have an impact on the creative direction.  You will work with product managers, editors, user experience designers, visual designers and site merchandisers to arrive at killer creative that meets business requirements that support efforts to become the definitive source for Seattle’s deals and shopping.

Primary responsibilities:

• Conceptualize and present creative directions to the design manager, team, and executives
• Have a high degree of attention to detail when managing multiple projects and feedback from multiple project owners
• Own the definition of a template and style guide library for a variety of UIs, marketing materials, and merchandising campaigns
• Own the production, organization, and review of graphic assets
• Iterate on visual approaches with a cross-functional team
• Work with the larger design community to co-ordinate and brand attributes and style guides

Requirement:

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in relevant field is required
• 3+ years of experience as a graphic designer, visual designer, interactive designer or similar role with interactive/ad agencies, design studios or Internet companies
• Proficiency in a variety of design tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator, Fireworks, InDesign, and Flash
• Knowledge of information architecture, usability, and UI Design strongly desired
• An online portfolio or work samples demonstrating experience creating compelling layouts and visual design with a high degree of fit and finish
• Illustration skills and/or multimedia experience preferred
• Superior conceptual and design skills with comprehensive knowledge of digital media
• Exceptional design skills including illustration, layout, typography, and optimized image production for the Web
• Demonstrated ability to communicate and collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams
• Solid written/verbal communication and collaborative skills
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects at one time to make aggressive deadlines
• Comprehensive understanding of technical issues, design functionality and cross browser testing
• Fluent in English
